The platform serves both the local community and visitors, combining traditional Swiss-inspired visual elements with a clean, functional interface that reflects the town’s character and values.
Scope
​
The project encompassed full website design and development - including structure, visual direction, layout design, and implementation within Wix. Deliverables included a local business directory, event calendar, donation page, and hiking tour registration features. The goal was to modernize the town’s digital presence while ensuring intuitive navigation and mobile accessibility.
Design Process
​
The visual design drew from Helvetia’s Swiss heritage, incorporating alpine-inspired motifs, warm color palettes, and hand-rendered accents that conveyed authenticity. Collaboration with the Helvetia Restoration and Development Organization ensured cultural accuracy and alignment with community values. The final design balances traditional charm with a modern user experience, reinforcing the town’s unique identity through cohesive branding and storytelling.
